All our actions in life need be conducted out from a motive of love and obedience toward God and a longing to please Him.

Whether we are reserved or unreserved, witty or gloomy, when we come to the Word of God with a heart that trembles, that is, when we rid ourselves of all pride and self, acknowledging our spiritual bankruptcy in and of ourselves and seek God’s enabling alone - that’s brokenness!

If we value Jesus Christ the head of the body, who has saved us, we need to value more the local church, His body, which provides and cares for us. 

Despite the challenges and attacks by culture, or government on the biblical definition of marriage or any other area of biblical truth, our personal call is to stand firm!

God’s grace in saving us is a gift to be personally built upon, not something that should attract slothfulness and smug satisfaction.

The Lord’s work is an overriding employment, no matter where we are.

...what about the day ahead when all believers will stand before the eternal Son of God’s love?

Sometimes we can get so caught up in worldly business and even the business of ministry, that we loose sight of the most important business - that is our own personal holiness, our everyday holy walk, where we are to image Christ. 

The problem is, often believers substitute conviction with mere preference in areas of life that the Holy Spirit clearly instructs.

Even what we wear must be chosen so that Jesus Christ and His gospel will in no way be vilified and that it is not self attention seeking.
