We know what God has said is right and true, but fail to follow through with submissive, obedient living.

How true it is that we like Martha can allow our lives to also be regulated by what is not necessary.

We often get so caught up in the immediate that we lose focus of the future. 

Praise the LORD that we can rest assured in the promises of God and that God in grace has grafted us in to shelter under those promised blessings. 

He begins through a variety of ways to mould us by regenerating our stubborn wills to exercise faith and repentance toward God through Jesus Christ.

He is sovereign over the affairs of men, politics, and nations and even right down to our church, including our individual lives.

Because, without the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our faith is in vain.

God longs for His redeemed people to praise Him. He longs for His people to give him glory.

It is so easy to get caught up in the hype of culture and self-preservation, where trusting in anything other than our own abilities and resources is considered a weakness and even futile.

Apostle Peter spoke of a time in the future where not only creation would be refreshed and restored to its former glory, but a time when God’s people would be in the presence of the Lord - not for a brief holiday, but forever!
