We need not only profess faith in God but we must also possess God personally, through faith alone in Jesus Christ.

It is one thing to appreciate and even love the truth of God’s word, but a totally different thing to apply that truth to our lives.

Developing a genuine friendship as described in our text is not easy.

What does the fear of God really mean as expressed in the Bible?

We know that to ‘reach one’s full potential’ is bound up in the wisdom of God and certainly not in the wisdom of man. 

The Lord said, “I am the way, and the truth and the life and no person comes to the Father but by Me.” (Jn 14:6).

We are merely stewards of all that He has entrusted to us - including our money!

May we stand firm to the truths of Scripture and never accommodate cultural mandates that despise the commands and truth of Holy Scripture. 

We loose sight of God’s objective truth concerning the gospel and what God has done and promised and give way to the overpowering subjective doubts and notions of our fickle minds. 

We are saved “through” faith but not by faith.
