Are our hearts bent toward being continually thankful?

As believers, we still have the capacity to hang on and even develop sinful habits. And like any bad habit, they are difficult to break but as obedient followers of Jesus Christ - break them we must!

So why did I struggle with a security that God Himself had signed and sealed with the death and resurrection of His Son as recorded in the Scriptures?

Next time you feel like having a ‘pity party’ remind yourself this is just my prideful old self in action using a sinful ploy of self - seeking attention! 

We have God’s mind given to us so that we might walk in His ways that will glorify Him.

The cure for ‘fear’ is in the words of Jesus who is truth. His word, which is truth, when trusted and believed chase away fear and give the believer peace!

Godless laws that refute gospel truth must be apposed and even broken by believers when necessary.

The Lord uses life’s circumstance both pleasant and unpleasant to mould and shape us for His glory.

Growing in Christ and to exercise the gifting and abilities God has given us for every aspect of life and godliness demands determination.

But if the will of God is to be done “on earth as it is in Heaven” surely this ‘oneness’ needs and should be seen happening in the in the local church now – right?
