But to “wait for the Lord” does not mean that we sit back and do nothing.

"Will we be held in any way accountable - are we responsible in way for our obedience to this commission?"

Let us see and understand that God is the sovereign ruler of the entire universe and nothing happens outside of His authoritative consent.

The cultivating of Christ-like thinking must be an ongoing work in our lives in order to have right attitudes. 

We know what God has said is right and true, but fail to follow through with submissive, obedient living.

How true it is that we like Martha can allow our lives to also be regulated by what is not necessary.

We often get so caught up in the immediate that we lose focus of the future. 

Praise the LORD that we can rest assured in the promises of God and that God in grace has grafted us in to shelter under those promised blessings. 

He begins through a variety of ways to mould us by regenerating our stubborn wills to exercise faith and repentance toward God through Jesus Christ.

He is sovereign over the affairs of men, politics, and nations and even right down to our church, including our individual lives.
