Christmas is all about Jesus - who was born to die! And that is exactly what God intended and planned from eternity past in order to redeem His people. 

The crucified Son of God, Jesus Christ, died for sinners and was raised for our justification.

Sin blinds us to the ‘foul ground’ where spiritual shipwreck is inevitable.

God instituted marriage between a man and a woman so that children could be born and the family consisting of Mum, Dad and the children can reflect something of the glory of God in this family setting. 

How we need to return and repent, whenever our hearts are drawn away from the Lord so to worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth and know His blessing. 

We tend so often to just coast along waiting for God to do something wonderful and even redemptive in people’s lives while we ourselves are not really ‘on board’ or living out faithfully, Jesus Christ. 

The Lord may well bless us with possessions but it’s our attitude toward them that the Lord takes serious note of. 

Jesus Christ is the bible’s grand subject, which has our eternal good at the heart of its message, which is all about bringing ultimate glory to God.

We are called to make disciples and this happens through the witness and testimony of God’s Word and our own faith displayed.

Are we more grateful for the blessings God gives us, than we are for Him who gives us those blessings?
