What's the Big Deal about Favouritism? Part One
James 2:5 - 7
24 May 2020

James wants us to live our faith out.

Favouritism is inconsistent with God's choice. God has often chosen the poor to be rich in faith, because they know that they cannot provide for themselves. If we show favouritism by looking at externals, we sin by not seeing them as God does.

Favouritism is inconsistent with your new name. We believe God is who He says He is, and we trust Him alone for salvation. We are heirs of the kingdom and of eternal life, so how could we look down on others for temporal things?

God loves and honours the majority of His people from the poor and outcast. Let us see others as through God's eyes.
