Christians endure trial as well, but we are never alone. If we are facing hardship, James has a pathway for us to walk.

If we are weak, we need help from the spiritually strong to anchor our hope in the Lord. Because God uses our sufferings to make us like Christ, we need not despair of trial.

James says there is hope in times of despair. He says to call to the elders of the church and have them pray over the person. There is a pathway back from a seemingly hopeless situation. James says to look to the elders, and to the church. We are not alone, and should be involved in each others' lives.
