Being Content with God's Sovereignty
Proverbs 16:1 - 9

Discontentment with our circumstances is discontentment with the Lord. Contentment is a glad frame of heart towards our situation and the Lord who gave it.

God is sovereign over me. His will prevails, although we are accountable for our thoughts and actions. Our times are in His hands, but He weights our motives in all things. A humble heart is content even in criticism.

God is sovereign over others. He alone holds and controls salvation and justice over all. God's Word is true, and we can be content in that.

How should I respond? We should walk with reverence, reconciled relationships, and righteous living. Respond with reliance on Him, because He is all we need.
