God deserves all glory. Responding to the reality of Yahweh rightly means we desire Him to be in the spotlight.
Responding rightly to the reality of Yahweh means we desire His glory. Because He is the one true and historical God, He alone deserves our all. When we are confronted with the glory of God, we see our sin, and never desire the spotlight on ourselves.
Responding rightly to the reality of Yahweh means we discern truth from error. Because Christ is the embodiment of truth, to lift Him up is to display reality, and the solution to our problems.
Responding rightly to the reality of Yahweh means we depend on Him. We know we are growing when we are content for God to do as He pleases, not as we please. We become like what we worship, either for restoration or ruin.
Responding rightly to the reality of Yahweh means we delight in Him. The Lord has gifted us the earth to enjoy and steward - but His foremost gift to us is Himself. Do we delight in Him above all?
