Yes - we are sheep, but sheep that are not totally dependent on their shepherd, are kind of sitting on a fence and in the danger of falling and becoming victim of pressurizing time and circumstance.

God made us in His image as emotional beings who can express & use emotions for His glory, as they are guided by His Word. Yes - even our feelings must be submitted to the authoritative Word of God.

Having friends is an important aspect of life because God created us to be people who would flourish in community.

This is our business. This is our goal. This is our commission given by the Lord Jesus Himself. This is why we need to be a Gospel driven church.

The promises made by our politicians over the last couple of months in order to persuade the voters of yesterday will now be put to the test. But as normal the promises made will often fail owing to the failure of leaders to keep their word. Truth gets sidelined and all sorts of blame shifting begin to fill the void.
